Tadhg Ó Cuirrín is an artist and teacher based in Co Galway, with a degree in painting from LSAD in 2009, and a background working in artist run spaces in Galway and Dublin.
In September 2020, he presented a new solo exhibition and book at Engage Studios Galway. In June 2019, he presented an exhibition of paintings at Pallas Projects in Dublin.
In summer 2021 he will host two discursive public performance events in Co Galway. In 2022 he will exhibit new work at a solo exhibition at Custom House Studios, Co Mayo.
He works in a variety of media, his recent work leaning towards CGI, & is interested in; overcoming blockages & breakdowns in communication; the point at which verisimilitude fails; and different aspects of memory.
